"Are you working now Howard?"

It appears that Doctor Gilhooly today, mainly relied on a technique inspired by Howard Hodgkins (famously seen in the documentary where Sir Yentob catches him working visually) and carried out what we now term a Visual Operation. Mirrors were also brought in at various stages. It is possible that similar methods will be utilised on one or two of the other pieces, in the lengthening queue of patients, who are also reportedly suffering from Hodgkins Disease.

  1. Please do NOT presume to speak on my behalf in relation to my operational methods. In particular I do not wish to be associated in any way with the risible, sniveling figure of Howard Hodgkin - EVER.

  2. Is it Howard Hodgkins or Hodgkin. I've never been able to work it out. Pretty this: http://www.tate.org.uk/britain/exhibitions/howardhodgkin/images/layout/nightandday_front.jpg

  3. In your expert opinion is it possible to Operate Visually? Does being looked at change the artefact? Yours deferentially, Doctor Mocksim
